Our vehicle-mounted cameras and AI help utilities and other grid operators increase their situational awareness of their assets while reducing costs. Our platform autonomously geolocates, photographs, and analyzes grid infrastructure as vehicles drive during routine operations, enabling more proactive grid management.

You are an expert at solving algorithmic problems and building embedded systems with C++ and Python.

Job responsibilities

  • Developing and maintaining our core C++ and Python Computer Vision framework
  • Providing algorithmic solutions for multiple object tracking and detection problems
  • Implementing a variety of interfaces for embedded hardware and software running on Linux and ROS2
  • Taking part in the entire lifecycle of projects from requirements to development, deployment and maintenance

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or a related field
  • At least 3 years of recent and relevant experience in C++ development

Preferred Qualifications

  • Industry experience in real time applications utilizing C and C++  that includes cameras and object detection on Linux devices
  • Expertise in depth estimation, 3D reconstruction, 2D/3D measurement, defect detection/recognition, OCR, SLAM, Sensor fusion, GPS, camera calibration, multi camera calibration, feature extraction, feature matching
  • Nvidia Jetson and ROS / ROS2 experience
  • Experience in Python development  Machine Learning, ROS2 and Pytorch
  • Experience in software distribution, Git version control, Devops
