Noteworthy AI Selected for Techstars Alabama EnergyTech Accelerator

Noteworthy AI was selected to participate in the Techstars Alabama EnergyTech 2021 cohort accelerator.

STAMFORD, CT (September 13, 2021)Noteworthy AI, a leading provider of real-time, AI-powered asset inspection and inventory analysis solutions for energy distribution operators, announced today that it has been selected as one of ten startups to participate in Techstars Alabama EnergyTech Accelerator’s 2021 energy and cleantech program. This is the second time Noteworthy AI has been acknowledged for its innovative solutions by leading energy tech community members since its founding.

Noteworthy AI was chosen to participate in this program because of its direct alignment with an industry need to ensure the reliability, resilience and safety of the electric grid in light of increased extreme weather events.

“We are thrilled to be selected as part of Techstars Alabama EnergyTech Accelerator’s 2021 cohort,” said Christopher Ricciuti, Founder and CEO of Noteworthy AI. “As a result of this recognition and investment, Noteworthy AI will expand our operations within Alabama, providing us the opportunity to hire local talent to help directly service our customers throughout the state.”

Techstars Alabama EnergyTech Accelerator is a mentorship-driven accelerator program that helps entrepreneurs grow and scale their business. The 13-week program will provide funding and connect startups with corporate partners, investors, and alumni. TechStars runs from September to December, culminating in Demo Day on December 9, 2021 – a public event where the startups will pitch their products and solutions to investors and customers.

“Noteworthy AI is helping to solve a critical problem for electric utilities,” said Nate Schmidt, managing director of Techstars Alabama EnergyTech Accelerator. “We are delighted to include their team as part of our 2021 cohort, and we are excited about the potential impact that they will have.”

The Techstars Alabama EnergyTech Accelerator is supported by Alabama Power, the Economic Development Partnership of Alabama (EDPA), the Alabama Department of Commerce, Altec, PowerSouth, the University of Alabama and Southern Research.
